There are multiple lessons we cover including: 

• Drivers hrs, Tachographs & record keeping.    

  • This covers the main areas of hgv driving for vocational needs. For example: how long you are legally allowed to drive for & when you must take breaks. How to do manual entries on your tacho and how long you must keep your records for. 

• Fire fighting & drink driving 

  • During this training you will physically put out a small, controlled fire. You will learn about the hazards and dangers of drink driving and the time it takes to go through your system. 

• Hazard Awareness 

  • This covers the basic awareness training of dangerous goods that is carried by road. This is also a required qualification to transport dangerous goods under the threshold limits and any limited quantities. 

• Vulnerable Road Users & Hand held Devices 

  • This course covers the hierarchy of the road users according to the highway code within the uk.. Hand held devices are the cause of a lot of accidents as to date. You will learn how many seconds it takes to miss a danger on the road while using a mobile device. 

• Load Restraints & Maintenance 

  • On this course you will learn how to distribute and secure loads on a vehicle. Also you will learn how to do all your daily checks on your vehicle before entering any public roads.
